Generate a Claude API key
and activate AI features in Reachy

Reachy uses your own Anthropic key, so you pay Anthropic directly. Search, connect, sequencing and scoring run locally at zero token cost — Claude is only called when it writes, reformulates or translates for you.

Setup, step by step

  1. Create an Anthropic account. Go to console.anthropic.com and register (or sign in).
  2. Open API keys. In the console, go to Settings → API keys.
  3. Create the key. Click "Create Key", give it a name, and copy it immediately — Anthropic shows it only once.
  4. Add credits. In Billing, purchase credits (minimum $5) to activate API access.
  5. Set a spend limit. In workspace settings, set a monthly spend limit — $2–5 is plenty for Reachy campaigns.
  6. Activate the key in Reachy. Open Reachy → Configuration → "Edit Claude Key", paste the key and click "Update key". AI features unlock immediately.

Copy the key when it's created — Anthropic displays it only once. If you lose it, just create a new one and update it in Reachy.
